So basically all I do is day dream about the next romantic vacation we can take together because it was that freaking unbelievable. Not once was I having a shitty time so I guess we can say we both passed some sort of test? I even found the cutest little store over by the pier that sold everything pink for the beach or pool which made my 5 year old heart sooo happy! When you head to Malibu these are the things you have todo….
Malibu Farm at the beginning of the pier is an absolute must for lunch and maybe even a little sunset dinner! The design decor, the farm fresh food and the crafty cocktails were enough to drive this #foodsnob crazy. I wish that we had a restaurant like this on our piers instead of Rubys!! When you check it out there you have to get their strawberry cocktail and the salmon sandwich, both of them melted in my mouth.
Smoothies are a thing in California and Sun Life Organics is definitely one of my favorite spots. I wish they had a San Diego location so I can indulge one of their organic goodies.
Calamigos Ranch is a place that I thought I could only dream of. Andy called it Stone Brewery on steroids for all you from San Diego. From amazing cocktails, lots of food porn, amazing grounds, games to play and the perfect vibe for all you lovers out there. We spent a solid 6 hours at this venue walking around the amazing resort that we plan on staying at soon, drinking and playing lawn games for hours. I may have kicked his ass a little bit. 🙂
I personally can say that I want to marry this man at this venue if we somehow can afford it because it is everything we love and I fell deeper in love with him here…
One thing we can’t say no to is free birthday shots of tequila apparently because we had a few too many.
The Ranch where you can stay is a very exclusive and amazingly beautiful resort from the lobby with the original standing fireplace to the hundreds of giant beautiful shady trees to the bridges that take you to a lot of cool secret spots.
We came across cows, that Andy did try to ride (say no to tequila). HA. To cute random doors and mirrors outside that made us feel like we were in Alice in Wonderland. To paddle boats, Ferris wheel and sooo many more gems that we can’t wait to go back and explore. Maybe our anniversary in January will take us back here? Thanks again Malibu for treating us right and being the place we celebrated our love and his 38th Birthday!
Love to to infinity an beyond babe!
