A Dream is a wish my heart made

June 13, 2018

My story began the day he was born and I kissed his sweet head. And my happily ever after continues as I do life with these two men as my family.  They are the dream and wish my heart has always made.

Disneyland has been my happiest place since giving birth to my son in 2014. We have been attending it as our escape since he was a year and a half old as mother and son.  Entering the front gates and walking down Main Street gives me some sort of relief as all of our bad days kind of go away for that exact moment. The smells of popcorn, cotton candy and listening to the happy music they play at all the right moments makes my heart burst.  The moments Rowan sees his favorite characters and goes RUNNING towards them even 2 1/2 years later still make my heart explode that I am able to give him this life.  Rewind to three weeks ago when I was finally able to bring the love of my life with us, now that had my heart even more joyful.  I was shocked that Andy hadn’t been to see the Mouse in THIRTY years!!! So here we were holding hands having one of the best days of our lives as a family.

Be still my heart look at BOTH of their smiles getting to see Mickey Mouse! (Sorry babe you can’t hide it)

Peace Out Darth Vador as my son says. Rowan and I are Star Wars fans..I mean we did name our dog Chewie for a reason.

When Andy asked me to get a picture of them two in front of Walt and they both posed the same not on purpose. Come on thats every single mamas dream, to find a man who loves her son as his own.

Fairy tales can come true. You got to make them happen, it all depends on you. ~ Princess and the Frog

One of the luckiest things that can happen to you in life is, I think, to have a happy childhood.
